Supplemental Funding for LIHEAP Released
On May 4, the Office of Community Services (OCS) published a dear colleague letter announcing the release of $4.5 billion in supplemental funding for the Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Provided through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) of 2021, any portion of the funds can be obligated for the current fiscal year through September 2022. The OCS has awarded 100% of the LIHEAP funding to eligible grantees.
