GFOA Training in Utah
Special Training Offering for Local Governments in Utah
GFOA is partnering with the Utah GFOA and Utah County to provide a three-day training event in Provo, UT. Attendees are able to select from days focused on accounting, grants management, and budgeting. Attend one or more sessions to receive an update on best practices, trends, and recent developments in each area. Classes will be taught by GFOA staff and feature training materials found in some of GFOA's more popular national training seminars.

GFOA has developed the training to provide flexibility to attendees. Each day will focus on a different topic and attendees can select the day(s) they would like to participate in. Each day is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM MDT and attendees are eligible to earn 8 CPE credits per day.

Registration and Pricing
Registration fees for each day are $400, which includes lunch. Attendees are welcome to sign up for multiple days. Space is limited, so please register early. Each day is capped at 40 participants. Governments in Utah have priority registration through the end of May.

No. However, to register, any non-GFOA member will need to create an online account with GFOA's registration system to process the registration. Creating an online account is free.
Each day is set up as a separate training. To register for multiple days, please select to add the days you would like to take and place them in your "cart" for checkout. You can also sign up for and pay for each day separately.
Unfortunately, GFOA's system requires each person to create an account and register individually.
Yes, GFOA's registration system will allow you to process a payment with a credit card.
Yes. To pay by check, select the appropriate option at check out. GFOA will then forward an invoice for the training.
