Andrew is currently serving as the Director of Finance/Assistant City Manager for the City of Indianola, Iowa. He also served as the city administrator for the City of Carlisle, Iowa from 2013-2018. Previously, he served as the city coordinator for the City of Vinton for 7 years and as the city clerk for the City of Mitchellville. He worked for the Iowa League of Cities as a project associate in the Department of Membership Services from 2001-2004. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Iowa State University in 1989 and his Master of Public Administration degree from Iowa State University in 1999. Between working on his college degrees, he served in U.S Army active duty and reserves and the Iowa National Guard as a linguist for 10.5 years.
