Andrew Lent

After obtaining a BA in Political Science at Iowa State University in Ames, IA, Andy entered the US Army as a linguist. He returned to Iowa in 1999 to earn an MPA. He then worked for the City of Des Moines Housing Services and the Iowa League of Cities before working as a City Administrator for the Cities of Mitchellville, Vinton, and Carlisle, IA, and most recently as the Finance Director for Indianola, IA. He is currently employed as the Director of Finance for the City of Altoona, IA.
