Christina Coyle

Christina has served as the Director of Finance at the City of Elmhurst since February 2022.  She oversees the City’s over $200 million annual budget, accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning.  Prior to joining the City, Christina was the Assistant Finance Director and subsequently the Finance Director at the Village of Glen Ellyn, where she worked for 10 years.  Previously, Ms. Coyle was also a government Audit Manager at Baker Tilly.  Christina is also the Chair of the Technical Accounting Review Committee (TARC) of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA).  Christina is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she double-majored in Finance and French.  She is also currently pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
