Christina became the Director of Finance at the City of Elmhurst in February 2022. She oversees the City’s $180 million annual budget, accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning. Prior to joining the City, Christina was the Assistant Finance Director and subsequently the Finance Director at the Village of Glen Ellyn, where she worked for 10 years. Previously, Ms. Coyle was also a government Audit Manager at Baker Tilly, LLP.

Christina is also the Chair of the Technical Accounting Review Committee (TARC) of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA). Ms. Coyle has also served as a budget reviewer for GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. Christina is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she double-majored in Finance and French.
