Nancy Feldman
Chief, Division of Fiscal Management, Montgomery County, Maryland

Nancy is the Chief of the Division of Fiscal Management for Montgomery County Maryland since 2020. She is responsible for oversight of the County’s cash and investments, debt management, revenue forecasting, and fiscal policy analysis. She has had a long career in municipal finance as a credit analyst, risk manager, investment banker and rating agency analyst at a number of firms including Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Roosevelt & Cross and Standard & Poor’s and served as the Director of Public Finance for the State of New Jersey from 2006-2010. During her tenure in the private sector, Nancy was head of the Public Finance Investment Banking division of Wells Fargo and additionally managed the transportation investment banking team within the Public Finance department where she provided underwriting, lending and rating agency advisory services for tax exempt municipal bonds and P3 transportation projects. During her tenure with the State of New Jersey she managed the analysis and program development for a proposed $40 billion monetization program for the State’s toll roads in addition to managing a $30 billion municipal bond portfolio. Nancy is currently President of The Society of Municipal Analysts, Vice-Chair of the GFOA Debt Committee, former board member of Northeast Women in Public Finance and former board member of iMentor - New York City chapter.
