Angela Pierce is the Assistance Finance Director for the City of Oklahoma City and has been with the organization since 2018. Prior to joining Oklahoma City, she worked as a Director and Administrator for Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority with the State of Oklahoma. As Assistance Finance Director, she has primary responsibility for providing oversight of the Finance Department and related Divisions such as AP/Procurement, Risk Management, and Treasury. In addition, she is the City’s Debt Coordinator and oversee the City’s issuance process as well as post issuance compliance. She oversees Accounting, the financial reporting process and payroll. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Angela is a member of the Government Financial Officers Association and has served that organization in many capacities including committee member positions and advisory roles. She has been married to Adam Pierce for 11 years and they have one son, Andrew, who is in third-grade, and a daughter who will be 2 in November. Angela enjoys the cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
