Patrice Sutton is the Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director for Lake County and serves as the GFOA State Representative for the Illinois GFOA. She previously held Finance Director positions at the municipal level in Lake County, after serving as a systems consultant for government organizations for several years.She is a Certified Public Finance Officer and was previously a member of the CPFO Team for IGFOA. She is on GFOA’s Standing Committee on Governmental Budgeting and Fiscal Policy and serves as a Budget Reviewer for GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Urban Studies from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
