Deanne is a co-founder and principal of Government Portfolio Advisors and serves as President and Senior Portfolio Advisor. She advises clients on all aspects of the portfolio management process, overseeing the company's management, client relations, and the strategic direction for client investment holdings. Her firm manages over $16 billion in separately managed portfolios for public entities and consults on an additional $19 billion. The firm's clients include state general funds, cities, counties, water districts, school districts, power districts, university funds, and other public finance authorities. Assets under management include operating funds, reserve funds, project funds, and bond proceeds. Deanne collaborates with clients to develop best practice procedures, increase accountability, and implement transparent strategies. This includes establishing appropriate benchmarks to guide and support investment decisions.

She has been active in GFOA for over 30 years and has served two terms on the Treasury and Management Committee (TIMS) in an advisory capacity. Her firm's approach embraces GFOA's best practice policy and investment management standards.
