Rock Hill Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Finance Manager. This position, under the direction of the CFO, assists in planning, coordinating, and maintaining the day to day financial activities of the District. This position performs various accounting duties, in-depth financial analysis, forecasts, financial reporting, and oversees all payroll functions. Assists in examining components of the district’s financial activities for accuracy and compliance with district policies and procedures, laws, regulations, and with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting standards.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting required, master’s degree in accounting preferred, five years supervisory experience, seven years of progressive experience in governmental accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting. School finance experience preferred. Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective written and oral communication skills required. Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards.
