New Kent County is accepting applications for a Director of Financial Services. This is an executive level position responsible for comprehensive financial operations. The Director of Financial Services performs complex, professional and administrative work in planning, organizing and directing the financial activities of the County. A degree in business, accounting, finance or related field is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. The position requires at least seven (7) years of experience in financial accounting including a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Salary will be dependent upon qualifications, with a complete benefit package.
