Job Description: 

The Placer County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for Administrative Services Manager. This unclassified, management-level position is at will and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the top-priority administrative and fiscal objectives of the Placer County Sheriff's Office by planning, organizing, directing, and developing budgets, contracts, Board memoranda, and grants, as well as directing day-to-day administrative activities and managing human resources and ADA/leave issues. As part of the Command staff for the agency, the incumbent will work closely with and may represent the Sheriff and Undersheriff in developing and/or furthering legislation, programs, and projects which promote the interests of both the Sheriff's Office and the County.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills, will have significant experience performing complex government finance and budgeting analysis, and will display a supportive and team-oriented management style.
