There are so many things that are uncertain and unknown about the upcoming 2020-21 school year, and yet stakeholders are looking to finance leaders for something that they've always, until now, been able to provide-clear answers about revenue and expenses and what school designs we can and cannot afford. As we look toward the start of the school year, there will be more questions and uncertainties, and the finance leaders' role as communicator will continue to be critical. What can we learn from finance leaders who have done this well to inform a (re)set of our own communication strategy? This session will draw from lessons Education Resource Strategies (ERS) has learned from finance leaders nationwide, and we will hear first-hand an approach from sitting finance leaders about their communication strategy.
