GFOA’s 2023 Virtual Forum provides an opportunity for those new to government or those with career aspirations of obtaining a leadership position in the field to experience a day in the life of a finance officer.
Over five days, GFOA will present 10 sessions that touch on topics a finance officer would be likely to face in their role. Each session will leverage GFOA’s Financial Foundations Framework, Code of Ethics, and suite of best practices to provide additional resources.
The Fundamentals Virtual Forum will be held July 10-14, 2023, with two sessions each day, as well as a kick off session on Monday, July 10.

The member rate is $225.00 and the non-member rate is $325.00.
No. While this forum uses content areas from GFOA's Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) program, it is separate.
You can earn a maximum of 15 CPE credits for attending the virtual forum. CPE credits vary depending on the session.

Yes. You must register before the start of the Forum on July 10, 2023.
