Accountant I:

$64,251.20 - $80,225.60/year plus CalPERS retirement/pension and generous benefits package. No experience required. Requires equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.

Accountant II:

$74,339.20 - $92,892.80/year plus CalPERS retirement/pension and generous benefits package. Requires two years of responsible, professional-level accounting and/or financial auditing experience performing duties similar to an Accountant I or an Auditor I with Placer County and the equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
