Job Description

The Town of Millsboro is accepting applications for a full-time accounts receivable position within the Finance Department. Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D and at least two years of related work experience. An associate’s degree or two years of college is preferred. Prior municipal experience is preferred.

The position is responsible for billing, collections, and customer service. The position requires considerable knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products as well as familiarity with PC-based accounting packages. Strong Excel skills are required as well as a good working knowledge of Word with particular emphasis on mail merge. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the position interacts daily with the public and the Town’s Public Works Department. Hours are generally Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and overtime when necessary. Competitive pay and benefits package.
