Budget and Management Analyst
Office of Management and Budget staff are fiscal and management consultants to County Agencies and the County Administrator’s Office. Analysts work with County agencies to coordinate and develop recommendations on resource allocation throughout the year. In addition to development and administration of the $7.8 billion annual operating and capital budget, analysts work on special projects. As skills develop, Analysts are eligible for promotion to higher-level Analyst positions. Candidates must have the following qualifications: Master's Degree in Public Administration or closely related public sector field; prefer at least 6 months local government budget or management analysis experience or internship experience involving analytical work; advanced analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; passion for analyzing data and developing solutions to complex problems. Analyst salary range starts at $68,259. Benefit package includes employer-subsidized health and life insurance; three weeks of vacation/administrative leave; participation in the Florida Retirement System; and employer-subsidized deferred compensation.
