THE POSITION:
This position is exempt from Civil Service and is an "At Will" position. It serves at the discretion of the hiring authority, subject to the City of Portland Human Resources Administrative Rules and the Portland City Charter and Code.
The City of Portland is seeking a collaborative and innovative leader to join as the City Procurement Officer (CPO).

OVERVIEW OF CITY PROCUREMENT OFFICER:
The City Procurement Officer (CPO) leads the Procurement Services Division and reports to the Deputy City Administrator of City Operations. This critical role ensures the success of programs and operations within the division. The division manages purchasing, solicitation, and contracting programs, utilizing technologies, and streamlined processes to deliver timely and effective procurement services to all City bureaus.
