Job Description

Join our Vienna Team! The Town of Vienna is a vibrant community in Fairfax County, neighboring Tysons, about 15 miles west of Washington, DC. 16,000+ population, AAA Bond rated. The Deputy Finance Director assists in the planning, managing and directing of all financial activities for the Town. Responsible for the annual audit and ACFR preparation. Manages the functions of General Accounting and Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Water and Sewer Billing and Customer Service.

Special projects and other duties as required. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, supplemented by five years of professional supervisory experience in an accounting, financial management or related environment.
