Director of Finance
CLOSING DATE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED
PRIMARY DUTIES: To develop, plan, and manage all aspects of the accounting functions and the budget process for the City of Lebanon. This includes developing and implementing city-wide financial policies, oversight and investment of city funds, oversight of the comprehensive annual financial report, forecasting and debt management, and preparing and evaluating the financial implications of economic development projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an appropriate position that must include supervisory and management level experience preferably in municipal government/fund accounting or not-for-profit finance or accounting. A master’s degree and a CPA is highly preferred.
SALARY INFORMATION: Placement within range depends on experience, education, and training.
