WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This professional-level position is in the Finance Department and works under the general supervision of the Management and Budget Officer. This position performs a variety of technical work in the preparation, review, and presentation of the Town’s operating and capital improvements budgets and management studies; works closely with Town departments on financial issues; and provides Munis (ERP system) training to Town employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of increasingly responsible technical experience in budget or financial operations. Experience in project management and handling a wide array of financial, budgeting and grants administration. Ability to independently exercise good professional judgment. General accounting knowledge.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in WDesk publishing or other budget software and Laserfiche. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
