What We Do

The Finance Department provides a variety of services to other City departments and to the public that includes finance/accounting, budget, and revenue. The Finance Department is responsible for the management and oversight of the City's budget, purchasing, accounts receivable and payable, investments, business tax collection, audits, business and transient occupancy tax collections, cashiering functions, utility billing and accounting activities.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a detail oriented, highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of both financial processes/operations and financial systems to address the City's needs pertaining to its financial systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with an Enterprise grade ERP system (Tyler Munis/SAP/Oracle), writing SQL, SSRS and Power BI, and experience maintaining cross-functional relationships (with IT and functional departments). This position will serve as the dedicated super-user and coordinator of needed integration for Finance Department technology, primarily the core financial system and reports to the Director/Assistant Director of Finance.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
