Senior Management Analyst

The Senior Management Analyst will perform highly complex, administrative and analytical work in the areas of budget preparation and administration, fiscal management, grants administration, contracts administration, and special projects and studies; and to perform related work as required. The Senior Management Analyst is the advanced journey level class of the Management Analyst series performing highly complex administrative and analytical work. This position has significant responsibility above the journey level and performs work requiring significant independent judgment.

THE POSITION:

The current vacancy is in the Finance Department and will be responsible for performing city-wide high-level budget and fiscal management work.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a public agency performing fiscal management and analysis duties including budget preparation; developing and monitoring an annual operating budget; developing and monitoring a capital budget; and cross departmental project management.
