Since launching in April 2021, many GFOA members have used the new community features on GFOA.org to to network with their peers, get answers to questions, and post updates about their jurisdiction. This is exactly the kind of engagement we were hoping for when we launched the platform back.
The member communities, are GFOA's latest feature as part of a larger digital journey that begun with the overhaul of GFOA's website more than two years ago. In this update, Timothy Martin, GFOA's Senior Manager for Member Engagement, discusses key events and milestones from GFOA's work to create a more engaging, more organized, and feature-full set of online tools for members.
