Description: This is a professional development event brought to you by the Small Government Forum (SGF).  This discussion will focus on the history of employee cross-training in small organizations.  It will explore why cross-training is important and how it can impact small organizations.  It will address the benefits as well as some of the challenges and risk associated with cross-training.  Finally, it will provide real-world examples of local governments who have done cross-training in the finance office and beyond.
